Default Projectors installed last weekend, significant upgrade -

as stated on this forum. Dremel cut-off wheel used to trim fenders worked well, as described. Wired fog switch to city lights as personal preference.

One question, anyone else have a problem with the Euro gasket not sealing quite as well to the upper side and back of the fender? I may have trimmed a bit much, but no more than other pics posted...

Default Actually should have stated rear of the projectors, on the

fenders. With the headlights on at night can see a small gap b/w fender and projector housing along the top and rear trailing edge. I've adjusted the housings as much as possible to seal tight to the body of the car, but still experience a misfit. Guess will have to figure out some type of gasket to wedge b/w to resolve the issue (nothing which would absorb or hold moisture, obviously).

Default Are you talking about this gap not sealing quite as well...

due to cutting the fender back to much?

Make sure you put some touch-up paint on the exposed metal to seal it from rust.

Default Yes.

I'm a bit disappointed by that, since I was hoping for a tighter fit. However, I found that by pushing the light as far back and up as possible before tightening down the two mounting screws, it covered the gap pretty well. I think I'll be the only one who will notice it, but it's not as good as I would have hoped. I'm wondering if there is a way I can shim them or something to push them up a bit more....I'll investigate.
