Default Damn! Sorry to hear that. Anyway, give me a buzz when you get into town.

I'll hook up with you on one of the days during the week. I live pretty close to where you'll be staying.

Default Sounds great! Always good to meet up with some Audi people!

There's no one here with big turbo A4's. Just bit giant T-wings & such. =)

It'll be a nice change! See you soon!

Default jesus....there are going to be 4 cars, and 1 driving event it seems.

I know not really, but this event has taken a huge crap on itself. Oh well.

Default I think it was doing that long time ago

when they started the voting way too late and let that go for much too long before counting the votes. How the hell do they expect the 10 people to book rooms, flights and get the cars shipped out if they dont live next door to the track with a 2 week notice. I think this event was thrown together and no real planning was done, well all except the point of them extracting $3500 for ad space from the tuner shops. Then they went and said that no sponsor names would be allowed on the 10 cars since they could not get $3500 out of those shops for the free ad space on the cars which will have pics in the mag.

The really funny thing is that people were already talking about how only 5 cars will end up showing up to the event when they first said there would be a 1.8t challenge. One other mistake is that it is NOT a 1.8t challenge since you can use a 2 liter block bore it out to 2.1-2.2 and there is no way that ever started life as a "1.8t". They might have just called it the "Audi/VW water cooled 4 cylinder 20valve" challenge.

Default The whole event was just a

cash cow for the mag, so they could over charge tuners for a ad space "this big" for $3500.

Maybe next will be the dyno to not show up and the drag racing cancled because there is no one to man the lights.
