Default Quick, i need Help. Anyone Installed an aftermarket exhaust.....

The muffler to resonator section seems very hard to remove...
Does it need to be cut and seperated into two parts or does the whole suspension need to be dropped down?
Please help soon as possible

Default I don't know what resonator you're talking about... are you taking off a stock exhaust? or an after

market one?

Default I ended up taking down the four hangars (3 use 1/2" bolts and 1, on the resonator i believe, uses

torx bits, which you can use an allen wrench on if you don't have the torx bit. Once they are off and the exhaust is down, i used a screwdriver to help pry off the hangars.

Default um

if you have an a4 it's like this... cat has a flang bolted to the downpipe, down pipe has a sleeve to attach it to the exhaust. A4s have two mufflers. You should not have to cut anything. The exhaust from the down pipe back should come off in one peice, and then the down pipe will come off. for the exhaust only.. not the downpipe you will need to undo 6 13mm bolts, two 45 torx bolts and the 2 17mm bolts on the sleeve. The downpipe is held on by two 13mm bolts to the cat, and there is another 13mm bolt in the bracket that come off the trans
