Default Recall?
I went to the dealer to get an Oil Change and they told me that there was a recall on my car to flash the software for the catalytic converter.
But my computer didnt take the flash. So they have to order me an new Engine Control Module.
But I am chipped, should I pull out the chip and put back in the OEM chip?
Oh, its for a 2000 A4 2.8Q

the dealer cant flash a chipped ecu. put your stock chip in and tell them to flash that.

Default if they have an updated version of the chipped code...
which i highly doubt...i dont think any one is innovating code on the B5 anymore....we're dead to the tuners.

Default flash software for the cat converter? bahaha
1: wtf does the cat converter need software revision for? all that goes on computer wise near the cat is an o2 sensor and i doubt that needs software revision...

2: if youre chipped why do you care about the cat?

Default it probably changes the voltage requirement for a warmed up O2 sensor...
or something like that.
