Default recommendations for shocks/coils/coilovers.. basically best suspension I can get?

what do you guys recon is the best suspension available for a 96 A4 (12v 2.8L)?

I'm looking for the best possible handling. If I want ride comfort I'll sit on a pillow so I'm looking for something as stiff as possible as long as it also holds the road over bumps and such.

As far as drop is concerned the lower the center of gravity the better ovbviously, but I also actually drive the car [hard] and not just cruise at 15mph down the boulevard. In other words a _little_ wheel clearance would be nice.

In other words "race suspension with maybe 1/2" more height than what you'd see in a championship GT car"

Ideas? Thanks!

STaSIS, without a doubt. You can have them make you spring rates that would shatter your spine.

Default in this case I would recommend callinf stasis directly...

he's looking for a racing setup, and they do race these cars.

I'm thinking they'll recommend the motorsport kit (2 way adjustable shocks) w/800F & 1000R linear rate springs.

Default Stasis. also get good tires

with a stiffer suspension your car will be more "on edge" traction wise. easier to lose the rear, etc. the car will do what you want it to do but you'll need tires that will allow that.

if money isnt a problem for you I'd go stasis + toyo RA1s for the street.

regards,
Liam
