Most data indicates this fall - no prices yet. Probably get some good ideas of pricing from Europe
in the next few months.

Less expensive? I'll believe that when I see it.
With all-new styling inside and out, and Audi already touting much-improved handling, I'll be <i>very</i> surprised if the 2002 A4 arrives in the US with a base price that's the same as the current model. An even lower price? I don't see it.
