Default Replaced cat and O2 sensors, now throwing a bunch of codes

I've got a 99 2.8 Quattro. I just replaced the driver's side cat and both o2 sensors on that side. When I started the car up after the install the car started throwing the following codes:

Address 01: Engine
Control Module Part Number: 4D0 907 551 AH
Component and/or Version: 2.8L V6/5V MOTR HS D04
Software Coding: 06201
Work Shop Code: WSC 06335

16518 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: No Activity
P0134 - 35-00 - -

Before the install it was only throwing the cat efficiency below threshold code.

Anyone know what could cause this? It seems like it's an issue with either the wiring harness or the ECU because of all the different codes. The car still drives fine. Anyone have anything similar happen?

did you unplug or remove any of the Vac solenoids and lines while removing the cats? if so you could have some electrical plugs plugged in to the wrong places, their are a few that will fit on other plugs.
or also I think their is a single small ground wire that is back their near the passenger cat, did it get pulled off or not put back on. I assume you cleared codes, did they all come back? strange that you have codes for both banks. I would start with grounds. Good luck

I am having the same issue as the OP. I was getting P0432 "Efficiency Below Threshold". So I changed the driver side cat on my B5 2.8 yesterday. When I was removing the nuts to detach the cat one of the bolts broke that holds the cat to the engine broke off. I installed the cat with just 2 of the 3 bolts (I now I need to get that fixed) I drove the car yesterday and the CEL did not come on. I need to get the car ready for inspection so I went for a drive. I drove for about 45 miles and stopped to get gas. As soon as I turn the car back on the CEL came on. I got home and attached the VAG and got 10 of the 11 codes the OP was getting. In addition to his codes I'm getting P0154 and P0153.

For P0153 I read that it may be a bad O2 sensor or the exhaust leak may be causing it. For the rest I don't knows causing them. The only connector I disconnected the the connector for the B2S1 O2 Sensor.

Also I tired to find the ground wire that one of the posters mentioned but I did not find such a wire.

Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?
OP, how did resolve the issues?
