Repost. ? regarding 1.8t
Since 1997
(some improvements I know of)
1: Turbo heat shielding and oil line shielding
2: Variable valve timing ( intake, exhaust or both???)
3: Drive by wire
feel free to add to the list.
As a side note; Is the B6 exhaust system more or less restrictive being a semi dual exhaust?

DBW wasnt an improvement ;)
nor was secondary air injection
nor was the relocation of the bypass valve
nor was the engine covers
but the turbo in 01.5 was
how far do you want to goe with this?

They made the first change to the K03 in 2000.
Not sure if it changed in the first half or the 2nd half of the 2000 production line. Then 3K made another change to the K03 and K04 line in 2001. Most of the changes were in the thickness of the shaft and the angle of the blades.
