repost w/ pictures of my 60mm Omori mechanical gauge problem....

here are pictures, courtesy of DAP (hope you dont mind me using these). i have the exact same problem w/ my gauge. it actually looks worse in person...

does anyone know if this is a common Omori mechanical problem? or a 60mm problem? an overall problem? or did DAP and i just get bunk gauges?

Hey, those sneakers look familiar! :P
I know that Greg at Omori-NA said that the electrical gauges never had that problem, but I didn't find out if all the mechanical gauges had it or if only the ones I tried did and I was just unlucky. Sounds like maybe it affects all of the mechanical gauges.
FWIW, I switched to a 52mm electrical gauge, and I love it.

well like that email i sent you earlier said....
i'm just waiting to hear from AWE and i guess i'll just go electric too. still, its disappointing that people pay such a premium for Omori gauges, but they turn out like this?

Hmmm.... I never got that e-mail.
Yeah, it is somewhat disappointing. If it weren't for that, I'd probably still be running the 60mm mechanical gauge with the mount that I sent you. However, like I said, I'm completely happy with my current 52mm electrical gauge.
