Default Engine is running perfectly according to logs. Low compression is generally very noticeable in....

engine performance. And we are not seeing this at all. The engine oil that comes out of an engine after 5,500 miles will have things that don't belong in it if seals or gaskets are bad or leaking.
So is it really worth doing these tests considering what I know?

Default Oil testing shows once part of the picture IMO. Compression and Leak Down 2 others.

An engine could have great compression but leak down could still indicate problems. I am in a similar boat as you with my AWM, but I am at 97.5K. I just did a compression and leak down and next I am going to do Kero and or Diesel flush along with AutoRX. I am going BT but I want to be able to run the engine for 75K with the BT before I have to rebuild it. Thats' my plan at least.
