retrofitting b6 rearview mirror (compass) into 97 b5 w/o anti-dazzle help
anyone know what's involved? there are plenty of b6 mirrors available for a reasonable price now at the auto recyclers.
searches came up w/ direct retrofit for b5 w anti-dazzle and someone mentioned that the had to run a wire to the fuse box to get power, no details and/or pix.
this would make a good tech article if anyone has done this and has good pix/instructions.
