Rob C ('Bahn Burner), something for you..........
well i priced out Moda R6's in the 18inch and 19inch...
i think id like to upgrade from the 17's in that kinda of wheel.
well i priced out the 18in to 1600 out the door and the 19inch for 2000....
thought after looking at them you might have some words for a potential buyer, maybe help me out there with info or visual observations..

Well, seeing them in person, I am extremely impressed...

...The rest is history...
I've been shopping/waiting for the right deal to come along for quite a while now, so the Moda's are nothing new to me. Mooney, who is in the process of parting out his car(I think he's sold alomost everything!) before he trades it, just happened to be living here in NH. Mooney, strange enough, was another Audiworld poster who inspired my Moda R6 purchase, even before he decided to sell them. I paid $950 for my 6 month old/used 17" Moda R6 wheels & Bridgestone Potenza SO-2 tires, which I feel is a great deal (thanks Mooney!). They are the brightest silver/clear coated wheels I have ever seen! They almost look chromed, almost. The style is so classic & enhances/matches the A4's lines perfectly, and the quality/build is incredible, very tough wheels(check out capeA4's post today 3/5/02: https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1065733.phtml ). I have yet to weigh them, but they do feel a bit heavy, but I would rather sacrifice a little speed for durability, imho. If you like I can let you know how much they weigh. 18" & 19" I would think would be a little heavier I think. I bought the Moda R6's in anticipation of an eventual SIII install, and to help with the added stability a bigger wheel offers. I also went smaller than 18"(if there is such a thing in a 17" wheel) because of the back roads here in N.H., they get really bumpy in the springtime! But the SIII is still a year or so away, and I will be enjoying my Moda's long before that ever happens. Hope you get the Moda R6's, you will not be disappointed!
