S4 rear brake upgrade from ECS tuning doesn't fit . . .
. . . on the '01. Something weird is going on, because I had the same kit on my '00 A4 with the identical 17" BBS RGR rims with no problem. The exterior of the caliper is coming in contact with the rim body on the inside corner which sticks out a little more than the outside corner. There is plenty of spoke clearance. The Stage 2 version 2 Porsche fronts fit with tons of clearance all the way around. The shop and I are thinking about grinding away at the inside corner of the caliper. Sucks I'm driving a Kia rental.

Shop and I did that. Can't figure out what happened but grinding solved it.
Mechanic says it has a much improved braking capability. Going to check the inside of the second set of BBS-RGR's to determine if there were any changes from one year to the other. Summer set vs. Winter set.

The spectra has mad pull from 0 - 20 mph with no turbo lag.
Smooth, huge torque steer, ugly interior, good center console controls, gutless mid range, wouldn't want to be in an accident with it.
