Default S4 SMIC on A4?
A friend is replacing his S4 SMIC's with RS4's. Would there be any benefit to trying to fit one of OEM S4 SMIC to replace mine? Feasible?

I searched and found more discussion on if a second could be installed... and that doesn't seem to work.

Default I think someone replaced their stocker with the RS4 and found small gains.
honestly, I wouldn't do that unless the car was in an accident and needed a new SMIC.

stocker or FMIC, imo.

Yeah the pressure drop plus the insane amount of work needed = not worth it

Default by gains, I mean less loss of power due to heat soak.
I swear someone posted dyno numbers of pre and post RS4 SMIC with their APR stage 3 kit. of course, it could've just been cooler that post day.

on a K03, I wouldn't "upgrade" the IC.
