Serious increase in fuel efficiency since taking off my roof rack and 17" wheels. . .
. . . They were SSR's with 235/40-17 S-03's and a Thule rack. I typically got 320 miles off a tank now I've got 240.3 and the trip says 185 more to go (gauge at just under 1/2 tank). I can usually squeeze another 30 more after the trip computer says 0, that would be 455 for a tank. My MAF is still coated with K&N oil so it must be running lean. What do you think? 2000 1.8T QMSCCX with Amsoil throughout the drivetrain.

yup.....i put on my snowboard rack and boards to go riding on Sunday and i got crappy.....
mileage =( i got 250 miles a tank on the way up.....normally...i average 350ish...on the way back, i put the boards in the car, but still with the racks...and it was better....i got 320ish [
