Default Seven reasons why I am done with original engine management

16534 02 sensor bank 1 precat... malfunction
16514 02 sensor bank 2 precat ... malfunction
16785 insufficient EGR flow
16685 cyl 1 misfire
16688 cyl 4 misfire
16690 cyl 6 misfire
16684 random misfire

Mind you that the bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor is brandy new original audi and the ECM is still unhappy. Know what... it runs and behaves moderately well and till I drop the $1650 on stand alone it will continue to operate as it has. What an annoying crappy ECM.

Default Are we talking about your 12V or the avant?

If the 12V, then no surprise here. 12V programming in the B4 is no good either.

You can go with 034efi for less than that although you'd prolly need stage 2c

Default well perhaps it sucks for tuning but other wise it's been pretty solid for me

the only time I got a CEL on my 12v is when my thermostat broke in 2 and the engine would not warm up.

Default oh if left alone it is a merry little thing... but I'm not interested in original flavor

figure I'll tune it till I throw a rod or drop a valve.

Default dont worry.... I'll blow it up for all of us

and then drop another engine in... and have another go at it and repeat as necessary till it looses all appeal.
