Default should I change my oil???

My car was about half way to an oil change when I left for school. Since then it has been sitting in my garage for what will be almost 3 months except for two weekends when I was home (put probably 500-600 miles on the car). My mom has been starting it up and letting it run about once a week.

So should I change my oil when I go home in a couple weeks since it's been in there a while?

Also, I changed the filter on the last change, so I don't have to this time, but should I still take it off and empty the oil in it?

TIA

Should be fine. BTW, she shouldn't just let it idle. It really should be driven.

Default hmmmm...the only problem is that she really isn't good at driving a stick...

and I don't want to just let it sit without being started for months. Hmmm....maybe I'll teach her how to drive it better over break...

yup, watch the service agreement people, you may not be getting new oil filter, so ask & pay for it.

I do my own oil changes, so should I change the filter every time, or follow the manual?

If you have to question it, do it anyway. You're talking about $25 for syn oil & filter. do it.
