should i replace the ecs ult. wasser pump rubber gasket w/ the oem metal one?

I would not use a soft rubber gasket on the water pump personally...
Just doesn't seem right. Too much going on there. Rubber gaskets are fine on inanimate things, like valve cover gaskets, things under lower pressure.. Not scalding hot water at 15psi.

I would...it's inexpensive.
The rubber gasket will be much more sensitive to proper torquing (too much or too little torque on the bolts, and you'll have a leak). The metal one seems like it'll present less opportunities for problems.
