so I am not a happy camper, please help me decide what to do......

Hey, thanks for looking! I got the Neuspeed bilsteins and Neuspeed sport springs, and installed the rears this weekend (couldn't get that control arm bolt off the front). So I was expecting a drop of about 10mm from the shocks, maybe 10-15 from the springs.. But how much did I get? The car raised about 20mm! After driving it around it settled down a good amount, but is still 5mm higher than stock sport suspension. It didn't change at all over night either. So now I am in bind, because I want it much lower. I wanted to drop the car about an inch. I also need a shop to the fronts for me. Should I have the shop do the fronts with these springs, and hope that the springs are correct, and hope that it settles to my liking, or order a set of Race springs, so I can actually get the drop I was expecting out of the sport springs? How much can I actually expect these springs to settle, a whole extra inch? Does it have anything to do with the plastic coating that is on the top (tightly wound) section of the springs? Was I supposed to take this off? Any thoughts on my situation would be honestly very appreciated. I am seriously bugging out now. (And please don't tell me I should have gotten coilovers, I know this now!)
Oh yeah, they were set at the lowest perches, and I have about 2.25 finger gap now, sport was 2 tight
Thanks
Scott

they are definitely on the lowest perches. When I set the springs next to each other the stock.....
sport and Nuespeed sport were the same height. Is this supposed to be the case? Are the tight coils supposed to go at the top? They also have this plastic sheething around the tight coils at the top, and when I look at the spring on the car when it is on the ground, the top coils are all mashed together and the plastic sheeting makes it look like they can not get any tighter. Is this correct? help me please!

Hmmmmm...
There may not be any difference in height when comparing the Neuspeed Sports with the stock sport springs per se. The difference will be in the spring rate and not how tall the spring sits uncompressed.
What color are your springs? If they are red, then that would definitely indicate that they are in fact 'Sport'. I would make sure that they sent you the correct springs for your car, as the Neuspeed/Bilsteins should give a lower ride height by themselves. Maybe you can/should try the Neuspeed/Bils with the stock sport springs and see if that changes things? The new springs should settle over some time, though you should see some differences in ride height right away.

Dude, you need to call Neuspeed today and tell them
They sent you the wrong springs bro...
Black = "Soft Sport"
Red= "Sport"
Yellow= "Race" (These are what I have- You saw how low my car was on Saturday)
The Soft Sports provide the same handling characteristics of Sports without lowering the ride height. No wonder you're seeing little improvement in ride height...

Call whomever you bought them from....
If you bought them from shox.com, they're the ones you'll need to take this up with, and NOT Neuspeed in this case (I assumed you got them directly from Neuspeed, so that's why I said to contact them).
Good luck...
