so i go to the body shop to take my a pillar off...
decided to get the spp one to replace my autometer pod. figure if i have to send in my a pillar, might as well do it while i dont have my car! anyway, got the plastic 'air bag' peice off no problem. had to look in every toolbox in the place to find the right torx wrench to get the freakin screw out! finally ripped the a pillar out and saw its guts! the neat part was, my car had no doors, no passenger seat, half its floor, half its headliners, like no airbags! saw my seat at the first tool box i went to, with the harness lying right next to it. saw my front door at the next tool box, with a new frame (?) lying next to it. pretty cool. like every place i went to in this place, i saw another peice of my car! they had no problems with me walking around, taking apart my car and digging for tools (i'm also in a suit from work!)
by far, the funniest part was....the people that were working on my car said the one problem they were having is that when they turned the car off, it kept on running! i said, yeah, its the turbo timer. when you use the e-brake, the car will run for one minute. it allows the turbo to cool down. then i showed them where it was (in the glove box). well they were totally stumped! they had no clue what it was! they were saying the different ways they tried to get my car to turn off! it was F**kin hilarious! so my car is scheduled to be done on march 8th at the latest. meaning i WILL have it for the bbq (thank God). and my new boost gauge pod should be in there too. woo hoo! i'm finally happy again!!!! only two more weeks of bumming rides!!!!!!!!!

No
can't make the dinner either. I had to have a few minor tweeks made to the front seat material that Bryan has been working on. I will let everyone know as soon as it is done.
