Default so i think i may have found someone to buy my car...

a friend of mine wants to buy my car, but i need a car still to get to work and such, i just need a beater or something like that till i leave in boot camp in june. Well my friends parents wont let him get a new car till he sells his old porsche 944, so sugested he gives 14k plus the 944 for my car. you guys think thats a good deal, he seemed to love the idea.

Default 944's are fun, well balanced cars but have bigger t-belt issues than our cars

T-belts need to be changed every 45k or sooner and is not a DIY job b/c they require a special, expensive balancing tool. $800-$1200 for T-belt/waterpump job. If the belt was recently done, go for it! I had '87 944 a few years back and loved it.
