Spark plug and ignition coil connection

Can anyone provide a picture or a diagram of the wiring from the ignition coil to spark plugs for a 1996 A4 2.8L AFC 12V? Thanks

I don't understand. I'm not trying to be a smartass, but there are plug wires that go from the coils to the plugs. I'm sure you see that, what are you looking for besides that?

Have you checked the sticker that should be on the front coil? It has the coil/cylinder numbers on it.

Thank for the replies. The coil has been replaced and the sticker is gone. I'm looking for how are the coils numbered from back (closest to the engine)to front (passenger side and driver side) and how are the cylinders numbered back of the engine to front of the engine /passenger side/drivers side).

The car came back from the shop, I never noticed until last week the driver side rear coil(closest to the engine) is wired to the middle cylinder, it doesn't seem right.

The rear coil is supposed to go to the middle cylinder, driver's side (5).

Here is how the coils are arranged-rear at top, front of car at bottom:

(3)-----(5)

(2)-----(4)

(1)-----(6)

Cylinder numbers are:

3___ 6 Driver's side

2___ 5

1___ 4
