In an A4 1.8T, what kind of seats can you get with the sports package? Can you still get leatherette for instance or cloth only?

Sport package comes with *regular* seats. Sport seats are extra. So, yes, you can get leatherette.

I just purchased a 2000 A4-1.8tQ with sports package and sport seats. Anne was right in her statement that the standard sport package comes with standard seats in either cloth or leatherette. The optional sports seats are available only in cloth or leather for the A4-2.8 hence, I got cloth.

I got mine with leatherette. It is possible to get leather at extra cost.

either standard leatherette or cloth seats on the 1.8T while Jacquard Relief cloth sports seats are an optional extra since 98.5.
However, 99% of dealer allocations are leatherette in the 1.8T no matter its non-sport or sport cause its the better seller than the sports seats.
You can only get leather sports seats on 2.8, not so with the 1.8T.
