Steering wheel Airbag Removal
The driver's side airbag is held on by two T-30 torx bolts. if you dont have the VAG tool for this you can use the following.
Craftsman T-30 blue/clear handle screwdriver
Craftsman 24mm closed end wrench
Turn the steering wheel so the bolt you are working on is facing the floor, Get the steering wheel to lock in place. Insert the screwdriver and locate the bolt. Screwdriver should be almost facing the driver seat.
If you cant apply enough torque with the screwdriver, put the 24mm wrench over the ridges on the screwdriver and use it to apply torque while you hold the screwdriver in the correct alignment.
Make sure you turn the bolts in the correct direction.
