Default unplug the battery and let it sit for 10-15 mins first...

then take off the air-bag, with two (sport steering wheel) torx (T25) and then get a 24mm socket wrench and remove the big bolt that holds the wheel on.

Default No, the 98.5 is difference with 96. The 98.5 had the bolt instead of nut. 12-point torx type.......

That what hold me backI have a sport steering wheel in garage and can not replace it because I do not have the right torx

Default alright, finished, thanks guys. here is the correct info...

2 T30 torx to remove the airbag, and the 1998.5 had a bolt, a very big one, with a T55 and a ton of torque to remove. Dont forget to mark it with a marker to sit it right when replacing. After that, a 4mm allen screw loosens the clamp for the switches. unplug all harnesses (left and right) and slide switches off. 20 minute job.
