Strange Problem

I washed off three weeks of accumulated road grunge from two snow storms on Friday (the car not me) and then drove the car directly into the garage. Drove it for the first time today. The car would not move in any gear. It was like the emergency brake was on, the car would seem to want to move but couldn't. Gave it one more try a few minutes later and it finally moved. It sounded like something broke loose but drove fine after that. Any ideas what happened?

Corrosion of the parking brake - it stuck to the wheel?...

I used to have that problem with my Saturn.

Rotors rusted to Brake pads. Very common. Good reason to not apply pbrake at ski areas

My rear brakes made noises when i backed up after sitting overnight. At my first service they repositioned the rear brake pads and turned the rotors....Take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it....
