Suspension Poll: Which Shock/Spring Combo?
I know, I know, this's probably been discussed a million times, but I'm trying to decide...
So far I'm leaning towards:
-Eibach Springs and Billstein Shocks

Whats your priority? Ride quality? Performance? Looks?
What suspension are you coming from? Non-sport?
If thats the case, the combo youre looking at will give you the looks and performance/comfort thats very similar to stock sport.

That's what I use, but can only compare to OEM non-sport...
I love the difference, in ride and looks. Corners far better, a bit stiffer, but if you have non-sport suspension, you'll soon forget that boat ride. You feel the road alot more, something I love. As far as the looks go, I feel it's a must and I can't believe Audi sells that non-sport suspension so shamelessly. It's just disgusting in comparison. Also, get this, the dealer quoted me over $900 for all OEM shocks, just the shocks. I paid less then $700 for the Eibach springs and the Bilstein shocks together.

Can't go wrong with Eibach/Bilstein, but check out Vogtland springs as well.
I made the switch from Eibach to Vogtland springs, and the ride seemed just a bit firmer. Ride height also leveled out (Eibach has a slight forward rake). Good luck

Find Vogtland springs here...

Switched from H&R Sport to Vogtland, and love 'em.
Can't go wrong with Eibachs, they're a quality spring. If you think you might want something a little stiffer, and more level, check out Vogtland springs.
