Default Thank you all....

I changed my own oil last night. I know, not that big of a deal, but it was the first time I had changed the oil myself on my A4. I used the FAQs, checked out the past responses, etc., and it was all there - everything I needed. It took me forever to do it - I did a bunch of un-necessary stuff, but I did get it done without stripping any bolts, burning off my flesh with hot oil, etc. Next time I'm sure it will go much quicker now that I know what I'm doing. Thank you all. This page is great. Happy Audiing...

Default Best tip ever...

go to Griotsgarage.com and buy their oil extractor. Just pop the hose down in the dipstick hole and suck it all right out, change the filter from up top, pour int he new oil, et voila!

5 minute oil change - no getting under the car at all.
