In many ways, but not in all ways.
With the "extra" money I bought the Suburban, trailer and a season of track time. There are other benefits too....but I certainly miss that beauty.

I live in kansas Usa sell it to me i will fly to you and DRIVE it across the border..
lol i CANT believe you believe what audi says they have NOTHING to do with what cars come to the us ofcourse they dont want it so you will buy a NEW car from them..

new york dmv directs me to customs.....
customs is what allows me to bring it into the states, not new york. as well, customs refers to audi regarding conformities. i don't have a letter saying it conforms nor will i get one. i don't know what it is that doesn't conform and to be honest, i'm starting to get pissed off at the whole thing. i mean, wtf do they care about a 15 year old car?!?!?!?!?! i don't know what the differences are and they won't tell me....like it REALLY takes a week for them to "research my VIN" i'm 99% decided that i'm gonna stretch my budget a little more than i wanted and get a C5 A6 2.7t. the reasoning there is that i've never really heard of them having issues (turbo failures are not as frequent due to different oil tube routing) and its a big squishy car to deal with the crap roads.
and hey, seeing as i'm prrbably gonna end up in a broom closet for an apartment, a big luxury car might be more effective at impressing the ladies :P

Can't you just drive the car into the U.S. as a tourist and keep it registered with Provincial
plates until you get better answers? I see Khanadian cars in the S.F. Bay Area all the time and I can't tell the difference between a tourist and an illegal Khanadian alien resident........not that there's anything wrong with that.
