Default Bilstein is not the OEM.

Sachs/Boge, and Monroe are OEM for the Audi.

Bilstein Sports will certainly firm up the ride.

Default That will work

That's the S4 Avant kit and will work just fine on your car.<ul><li><a href="http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=205">H&amp;R S4 Avant Coilover</a></li></ul>

Default I put them on my A4 in November when I did the brakes and was amazed at the difference

Default I would not use the term stiff - just firm

and it really does ride nice.

I drove with my daughter as she took the car back to school in Indiana and after 14 hours in the car we were still very alert and not fatigued from the ride.

Default a comment....

We need to do the same on our 00(wt 1BE suspension). I'm planning on Bilstein HD's , new mounts, and a Febi control arm kit in the fall. Having said that, it will be a tade firmer then the previous SACHS units. You might consider Boge Turbo Gas shock units as they will be closer to the factory settings then the Bilstein's will. I believe Boge Ag got bought out by the consortium that owns and runs SACHS, so they are essentially the same unit.
