Default Too late to Chip?

So the wife and I bought her folks RX300 from them over Christmas and her 99.5 1.8TQMS is finally all mine. She wouldn't ever let me chip the thing so it is 100% stock.

It has 40k miles and is in otherwise perfect condition. I may do some other mods, but in terms of chipping I have two questions:

1) Is it too late to chip?
2) Is there a particular chip whose characteristics would be better suited to an older, more worn in engine?

Glad to finally be part of the club...

Default dude your motor is barely broken in. 40k = near virgin

150K might be "worn" if not taken care of.

Default So here's questions #3

I live in Atlanta, is it worth it to drive over to Auburn to APR to get the full experience or just do it myself?

If I lived close, I would do it, plus no waiting for FedX.
