Default Trading in my current 01.5 A4 2.8 for a new 02 A4/S4...suggestions please!

My current car is giving me AWFUL mileage (13.5mpg, and I go like 180-200miles on one tank, it SUCKS) So I am going to declare the Lemon Law, and get a new car...I am thinking of moving on to a new BMW since their mileage is better...but I want to stay faithful to Audi, with either an A4. 1.8T, or S4...don't want to get another 2.8

Will the S4 give me much worse mileage? sigh..325xi would be a better option I think, since it is all wheel drive, faster than 2.8..btw, I want an automatic, so getting an S4 auto would be kind of silly, huh? lol

Thanks!

S4 mileage is no better; plus I doubt you can Lemon Law it just because you have a heavy right foot.

02 S4 is not different from 01. The A4 will be a whole new animal especially with the all new CVT

Default That's the problem, I DON'T have a heavy right foot! It has been done before...

woman was getting 8mpg on a ford expedition, was supposed to get 11mpg...got a lot of money when they sued...I am hoping to not have to sue, and Audi will just do it themself...it is false advertising to say 18mpg, and then have me get 13.5, I do not drive like a mad man, and rarely go over 4000 RPM! sigh...what are you 1.8Ters getting?

most states' Lemon Law requires your car to be in the shop x-number of days within a given period.

I have read my state's lemon law...(CA), I have to take it in 4 times within a year, or 12,000 miles

Default what kind of driving do you do? city/highway?

take a long drive out on the interstate at about 70mph and see what kind of mileage you will get. normally im getting 300 miles per tank in my 1.t chipped. when i drove to houston i made about 400, which would have been more had i not stopped in the city and tested out my turbo at each light
