Default I looked it up in my copy of

ETKA. ETKA may be wrong but I'd trust that above Impex listings. Verify the part number I gave you with your local dealer.

Default yeah the 018 is for the propshaft... I only use that part for that application every day

I've posted this part info HOW MANY TIMES now.

I just happen to be trained and certified by audi on this topic. So I'd trust me... being that I'm qualified and experienced in this area.

from what I remember a 5spd manual gearbox will have an 01A seal at the propshaft not an 018.

As to your question about making it to 200k miles without a rebuild, the answer is almost certainly yes, unless there was some gross sin committed by the PO, such as using Dino oil or not changing it after enough. I have a 1.8T car, and with the exception of the aforementioned sludge issue, they'll run forever. Turbo510 has a 3.0, and seems to be a fan of the motor, so he might have an opinion.

It sounds like you've done a lot already, so with the future unknowable, and a 3500 repair looming, I would try to assess the depth of my love, and (this is just me) look at the paint quality. Too many dings, wheels with curb rash leather deteriorating, rear suspension bushings dried out, differential leaking, rear or front bumpers chipped up - take a cold, hard look. If it passes, great, if not time to move on imo.
