Well a week ago my gearbox started playing up, would selet first go to take off and get an extreme jerk in the car like someone rear ended the car. Tried to drive home but it happened in second as well. In the end before i could get towed the clutch shattered.

New clutch, came out of the mechanic and everything was ok, mechanic tells me the vibration in first is from the input shaft??? my trans is on the way out. Ok so i drive the car like a baby fearing the worse. A week goes by and the SAME THING HAPPENS this time the clutch shattered on the second attempt to accelerate

Anyone know what could cause this?

seriously? Were the any drivability issues at all within these two weeks? What all exactly was replaced th first time?

Try 8 days.

Only issue was vibration in first on take off.

2. He f'd something up.

My money is on you finding the bolt for one of your front axles fell out. Walk out, follow the axles up to the trans, and tell us if one is no longer bolted on.
