Default Trip blog: So off I go from Villanova PA... On my way back to Maine earlier than planned:

I blame Silver Streakin's car.... it was the start of bad luck.

I kid I kid. ;-)

BTW, Jeff - did you get it finished up OK?

I have a bunch of business stuff and some other things happening at home and need to shoot back up there. Bummer, no Carlisle Car Show for me. I have had thoughts of shooting over for a couple hours and then heading home as I'd still be home by tomorrow it would just be a little (or quite a bit really) latter.

I guess I'll be driving much of the night unless a fellow AW'er wants help breaking their car too... and has a couch for me? ;-P

Default I posted on the other thread, but 4 of the nuts are currently tight and that lower one is threaded.

and you might want to check your car for oil leaks again. there are spots in my driveway.

Ahh, no more leaks! Sorry if I left a spot - I'm trying hard to "house train" her.

Default Oh, and I hope you got it all OK... I am still in Villanova as I found out my insurance expired!

We deal with a local (to us in Maine) company and were in the process of switching through them to different carrier... long story short it got messed up and for a few days now I have had no insurance. EEEKKK!! I didn't know as I was out of town and my agent was freaking out as he didn't get notice of it either until it had been a couple days!

Anyway, I have full coverage back as of 3:00 this afternoon and lucky for all involved I had no problems. REALLY glad I didn't hit an of those deer near your house Jeff!!!!!! That would have sucked big-time.

So, now I am leaving in the morning tomorrow (fri)

Default all back together this afternoon...no leaks. back to street pads and wheels/tires as well.

yeah, we went through a lapse in ins as well when a payment wasn't made for some reason. don't rely on online banking!

drop me an email with your address to mail the 12mm shorty or stop by on your way out.

no worries about the spots, but there are 5, whcih is about 1 for each time you pulled up. something is leaking that I'd worry about it for a long drive back to Maine.
