Default tt timer probs :(

Hi there, I was hoping some1 could have a read at my prob and let me know of any ideas you might have. I have read so many tutorials i am confused now.

I am installing a blitz turbo timer, but from what I have read they are very similar to a greddy, the wires are the same colors too. So far I have;

1. TT Red wire ? 12v Constant Red wire under steering column.

2. TT Green wire ? Black wire under steering column.

3. TT Blue wire ? Black/red, this is meant to be ignition accessory wire.

4. TT Purple and Black wires are grounded.

5. I have found the black/blue wire coming out of fuse 6, and have cut it. I attached an inline 5amp fuse from this black/blue wire to the 75x post.

What happens?

The turbo timer lights up and has power, great! But there are several things I have noticed;

When I take the key out the engine keeps running, BUT I can't activate the alarm.

The electric windows don't work 100%, if I single click the windows to roll up/down they don't, but after say 5 mins, they do!! wtf!!

My doubts are with step 3. and 5.;

Some tutorials say I have to connect the thin black/blue cable to a thin red? or red/black cable under the steering column.

So basically, do I have to use he TT blue wire? How do I fix the alarm problem?

Any ideas I will try!

Cheers,

Mike
