Default Turbo getting old.

I was noticing last night my turbo sounded louder than normal. It wasn't the full-on dentist drill sound or anything, but it was rather discouraging. How much would an average shop charge to put in a new one? Also, I'm at 105k, so my clutch isn't grabbing too hard, how much could i expect to pay for a new one of those as well, thinkin i would do them at the same time. Audi$ are expen$ive!

Default Searching the forum will get you the answers you're looking for.

The "Search Forum" option at the top of the page.

Audis aren't really that expensive. Doing the work yourself isn't as hard as you think. You can probably find someone close to you that would be willing to help you work on the car. There are numerous write-ups and how-tos in the FAQ section as well.

Default check for a leaking cat flange. My turbo was louder when the flange welds had melted

and melted flange welds are quite the common issue for these cars.
