Default turn signal flasher/relay???

i just recently started having a problem with my turn signals on my 98 a-4.they flash once or twice then go out.i have high beams and hazards.ive read on here that theres a relay under the dash which is like telling me to look for something that has wires coming off of it.is this relay down under the column under that knee panel or up center dash behind the hazard button like some people say?does anyone have a exact location ?

Not under, in. It's in the hazard button itself.

Default You'll probably need to get it from an Audi/VW parts place

I can't imagine Pep Boys/AutZone/etc would stock or could even get these. See Nate's or Carson's sigs.

Default i ended up taking it apart on my kitchen table and bent the contact on the relay

all is good for now until that part where it contacts now wheres out.the associated auto by me has 2 diff types and they both $36 beats the dealer $80.

Default Check Nate's sig for the link to Genuine Audi/VW parts

Emergency Flasher Hazard switch $22
Search for part# 8D0941509H01C.

Unless dealer price <= internet price + shipping, don't bother with them for parts unless you need it NOW.
