UH OH...look who has nitrous
thats right...me! And my car has yet to blow up. Very interesting. Everyone seems to be sooo afraid of nitrous, and it really is not so bad as long as you use it in moderation. I am running a 75 shot with a nitrous express system that i had to custom fit to my car. I had to rewire everything, and change out the relays, and clean the solinoids (because the system was used). And i had to make the little panel that you see below. The blue switch is to arm the system, the red switch is the bottle heater(heat creates pressure), and the red button is the purge. The black button is a dummy button for my roomate. I had to give him something to keep him occupied. He would purge the whole bottle if he could. The purge realeases right behind the hood in front of the windshield in the middle.
So how much power does the car have now?
Well, a 75 shot is 75 hp. I got the jet settings by calling nirtrous express and disscussing my engine with them. From previous mods, and now this mod i would say i am well over 250hp when the system is spraying, possibly up to 275. I will dyno the car this week sometime.
By the way...i blow off the tires in first gear from a rolling start at about 15-20mph. Then i shift and blow off the tires again through half of 2nd.

hell no...it looks like a birds nest right now!
i have to clean it up a little before i post those pics. The bottle is in the spare tire space in the trunk btw. I am building up a sub install with acrylic to show it off. I'll post those pics

i don't get the medical grade nitrous until tonight
they put stuff in nitrous to make you puke now. I suppose so we won't do 900psi nitrous hits at -400 degrees. Anyway....i know a guy that builds race cars, and he gets the good ****. medical grade all the way.
