Default just got a text: "ITS ALIVE!!"

compression was way, way low as he finally got a tester. Said it took almost a 1/2 cup of oil in each cylinder to get them up to 130 or so. Then it started. Plus it also warmed up to 40 degrees today. So far so good now...

Default Its alive!! Drives like a dream again. Thanks guys!

Got the compression tester. All cylinders were under 70. Ended up dumping close to a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of oil into all cylinders to get to 130. Check all the spark. Put plugs in and turned her over.
It took about 40 seconds of cranking to get it to run. Finally purin by itself.
Just got back from a drive and it did great.
Thanks again guys!

So why was the compression under 70 for all 4?

Default That's what happens when you flood a car REALLY bad

The thin layer of oil on the cylinder walls that helps your rings seal gets displaced by the gasoline ("washed down"), and your compression goes way down until you replace that oil.
