Default Update on my engine problem a few days back...

I was boosting 5psi while I was on the road and it happened again earlier today(CEL came on). I happened to stop by Princeton Audi to pick up my key and the VW sales(Roberto), who I talked to my former visit, volunteed to VAG my car in the bays. The code he pulled out was 17536: Bank1, mixture adaption(mult.) system too lean. The tech was telling me that the evo intake's sucking in too much air and it builded up too much back pressure due to my stock exhaust. What do you guys think? Buy an aftermarket exhaust? or there's another fix to this? OR something else's wrong with the car?

I saw a RS6 in the showroom and being delivered now. I sat in it...very nice! big brakes, flare fenders...drool!

Has he checked the MAF sensor signal?

Default Other possible causes... (if it's not the MAF)

Other possible causes:

1) Clogged or dirty fuel injectors (though not likely or other problems
would surface).
2) Un-metered air entering the system--i.e., vacuum leak.
3) Failing fuel pump.
4) Bad O2 sensor.

Default Not sure...

He said that the idle reading was perfect. Then he ran a test and it was too much air sucking into the engine.

Default I don't think it does...

The CEL goes off over time and when the code's clears, The car pulls stronger than ever. I think it's the fact that the car's sucking in too much HOT air which cause it to go into limp mode. But I could be wrong. Cuz that same nite when the car went into limp mode, it ran awesome! I never pushed the car that hard and it ran w/o a problem.

Default right now it's running normal since the dealer cleared the code.

It goes into limp mode when it gets hot(with AC on full blast). the car goes back to normal at nite.
