Waaaaaahooooo!!!! 17x8 Voxx MGR's are on.......pix later........
225/45 17 Kumho's.
Going from the stock sport 16x7's to the 17's is a night and day difference. The ride is definitely firmer (running 39 lbs all around), handling is substantially more responsive, tires grip very well. They definitely tramline a bit more, but not too bad.
Appearance-wise, I like 'em. Very clean, simple, understated, elegant 5-spoke design. They actually almost look like 18's, since the spokes extend all the way out to the lip. They weren't my first choice (Ace Lolas would've been my first choice), but I'm happy with them. The price was right, barely used, perfect condition with tires for $600 plus shipping.
They do make the car look a bit lifted (I have the oem sport package), but not too bad. Just more motivation to finally get around to dropping the car, I guess *wallet cringing*. H&R sports and Bilsteins, someday.
