This weekend I plan to do 3 minor mods/maintance to the B5-A4. I have used the "search function" as I'm a noob, but not new to surfing AW forums. I am just looking for some second opinions, or more options.

I got an 01.5 1.8TQtip stock-engine. You ask why because, I have already had after 8 months of owning, the oil sludge and cam tensioner replaced due to C.P.O. lucky me, but dosen't boost my confidence in the car. Plus did I mention its a TIP.

Air-intakes- I gather are not worth it for the HP/dinero, including the Carbino. K&N panal probably does nothing and may cause damage, so I'll buy a new OEM?
Spark plugs- I read copper NGK's maybe bad, Platium/Iridium are not nessary(stock) and may cause missfires. So I'll go OEM, or is there a copper fan here w/part number?
Independent fog light mod, I want to do this and seems easy enough to mod the rely. Can some-one attest to this not causing any future eleco problems?

When did 93 octane become a mod? Or wheater mats, for that matter?

around the same time OEM exhuast tips become a mod.

Air Intake - Skip. Had one for a while, cool noise, noticeable power lost. If you like the whoosh noise then go for it, it won't kill the car, but you'll be losing power. Get a stock OEM replacement.

Spark Plugs - Buy stock ones. They work fine.

Fog Light Mod - Never tried it. Can't help you out there.
