weekend no.2 hidden sub trunk floor
made a 2nd attempt this weekend... came out better this time, still have yet to perfect the rear part where it butts up to the lift over part of the trunk.
maybe in a week or two I'll actually have it working and have a decent template to make duplicates.
Meantime I think I might buy a single 15" to replace the 10".
I relocated my battery from the tire well to the side of the trunk... that was an interesting challange, I had to make a bracket of sorts and I really need to add a strap that ties the battery down to the bracket that it rests on.
Things remaining to do.
1. clean & sound deaden tire well
2. wire power to the amp
3. fill well with acoustastuff
4. add brace to MDF sub floor
5. affix grille to sub floor
6. counter mount sub (beneath sub floor)
I'm beat for the night... got to clean up my desk and have a beer before bed so I can get up and sell lots of audi parts in the morning.
