Well just got my steering rack done ...
Brian at Brian's garage did it for 970 total parts were like 5-6 hundred something like that. Then labor and ps fluid was the rest. Thank god warranty covered it.
Do the steering racks go bad alot? Or should i beleive it was from the time i put in the wrong ps fluid and drove with it for a week, then realized i was a complete moron and flushed it with the correct ps fluid?

mine just went out a few months ago...
but I have a '96 and it had 115k mi on it. I did it for about $400 in parts... but did a LOT of other repairs as well while the car was apart
