Well, the new brake master is in, but...
the damn reservoir crumbled in my hands while I was trying to remove it.. GRR! Gotta love 10 year old car parts..

I suppose it could have been worse. Could have shattered when you pressure bled it.
Is is time for you to move on with this car, seems like the Vermont climate is getting to it.

I don't pressure bleed, I use a combo of gravity and vacuum.. I've had similar thoughts about the car, but every time I do, then I drive it, and realize it runs and drives great, and even if I spent a few thousand a year on upkeep, it's still less expensive than a new car, which could theoretically have the same exact problems or worse.

Yeah. I'm having a hell of a time bleeding the damn thing now. I wish I actually took the time to correctly bench bleed the MC before I bolted it in.. *kicks self*
Good news is, the brakes work much better than they DID, but they still don't work as well as they should.
