driving home from a club with one of my friends. i hadnt been drinking, and while driving behind some other old *** beater toyota corolla, the guy gets on his brakes quick, doesnt use his turn signal, and swerves to the right last minute to turn down some street. a cop was behind us the entire time. about 4 miles down the road, he flicks on his cherries and pulls me over. comes up to the car and ask if i knew why he pulled me over. i could honestly say i had no idea. he said i broke too late for that car turning. i tell him that he broke last minute, didnt use his turn signal, and i was still plenty far away from him. he said he saw that too, and assumed the other driver might have been drunk. he thought i was driving under the influence as well. he asked where we were coming from, told him we were at a club, asks if i had been drinking, told him not for a few hours. then he changes his story to 'i pulled you over because you have front tint and that's illegal in IL.' how in the f**k can you see my front tint when its pitched black outside and you never even came close to driving up next to me!? he asks for my insurance card and all, turns out it's expired (which is messed up because i just bought out my company car and just got new insurance). i explained how i just bought the car/insurance from my company and yada, yada, yada. he then asks if i have had any other tickets. i say yes, back in may/june for no front plate and tint. he asks if i have a front plate, i say 'in the back seat i do'. he asks why i dont have it on there, i say 'i'm not about to drill holes in my bumper'. he actually seemed to understand. so he goes to his car, comes back, says he'll give me a warning, but now my plates are in the system so next time i get pulled over i'll get ticketed. gee, like i havent heard that 5 times already! so anyway, i'm pretty stoked that i didnt get any tickets and got away scott free.

instead of pulling over a guy that was driving erratically he pulls you over? And what happened to the other guy? He managed to get away and run over some people in a drunken stupor? bull**** cops suck.
