what did you pay for timing belt replacement?

A comment...
It usually runs about $850-1800(labor & parts), depending on whats done. The devil is really in the details. I spent about $600 just in parts when I did ours, but everything was done(rad, hoses, switches, tensioners, rollers, belts, mounts, pcv hose, etc.). That job, especially on the 2.8's is somewhat timely. Oh yes, rewarded myself with a nice glass of single malt and a cigar.

That's almost half what the labor charges would be here in WA...
With shop labor rates around $80-98, it adds up quite fast. I thought labor for a 2.8 waterpump/t-belt/t-stat was 7-8 hrs charge out. If your getting out the door for $50 an hour, consider yourself fortunate.
