Default are you sure it's the control arms?

as I said in a couple of posts below. I added a grease fitting to the arm right after it started squeaking and so far no more squeak. cost me about .5 an hour of time and $25 for the grease, gun and fitting.

Default i drove on 'creakies' for over a year...

in the winter, my creak was gone, so that's something to look forward to, maybe.

Default You should be mad at Audi for having such an item...

let's face it the control arms are a wear and tear item. They happen to wear a little faster than what we would like but none the less..

Default deal diagnosed it to be the lower control arms in ther rear...both of them

tech said that it looks like the bolts were tightened while the car was in the air... in turn when the car was put down it stress the control arms causing the bushings to dry out.
