Default What would you buy? '99.5 - '01 A4 1.8Tquattro manual sport vs. '99-'01 328i Sedan manual sport?

I've been an Audi owner since early '98 with my '95 90 and I've been extremely happy with it. I'm contemplating buying a used A4 or 3 series and keeping the 90 or selling the 90 and buying either car new.

Since I've rarely ventured over here to the A4 forum, I'm quite limited to my knowledge of the difference between MY A4's. Thus, if you could buy the perfect A4 - what would it be? I've had my eye on a '99 A4 1.8tqms, but it's listed at $23,9k, which seems a bit high with 33k miles on it. How can I tell if it's a '99 or '99.5? Any quick visual things (other than looking at the build date, which when would the first .5 be - July '99?)

Please keep in mind that I live the philly region, thus keep me from buying a rear-wheel drive BMW.

Thanks in advance for the info.

Also, anyone want a 90? All regularly scheduled maintenance done at Audi dealers. 3k oil changes and recent 105k service with all fluids including tranny, rear diff, etc., new Zimmermann rotors, Mintex pads and Dunlop SP 5000 tires.

Default I'll take the 90 if you're throwing it away. The 99.5 is supposed to be a good one.Look for MarkPs

..site. It shows all the differences between MYs.
